AQ IGI Internal Search Tutorial

The International Genealogical Index, or IGI, is a large archive of historical data originally submitted by members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and that has since been closed.

Ancestral Quest used to provide ways to upload data to the IGI as well as search the IGI for various information. But since the IGI data is largely available on the FamilySearch website, now, those old IGI tools are no longer useful and have been removed from Ancestral Quest.

In light of that, this IGI Tutorial has been removed from our website. We would like to direct you to the TreeTips and Advanced Searching tools available in the latest version of Ancestral Quest, to perform your searches on FamilySearch: Research Your Family on the Internet
