Frequently Asked Questions

Printing and PDF Generating

The information that you place into Ancestral Quest can be printed out on paper, or saved as PDF documents or text files.

In the world of genealogy, there are specific types of traditional reports that are commonly generated from your family tree. Ancestral Quest can generate the most common of those traditional reports. A list of the reports that Ancestral Quest can generate is found on our Feature List page for Reports.

If the traditional pre-defined reports do not suit your needs, you can create your own Custom Report. This report is laid out in columns and can include may of the available fields from your Individual and Marriage records.

Instead of sending the report to your printer, you send the report to a PDF Printer Driver, which will save the report as a PDF file.
